EU budget contribution per member state
How much does your country contribute to the EU budget?
This map shows the EU Member States’ contributions to the European Union budget in 2014. While more than half of the EU member states contributed shares between 0.06 percent (Malta) and 1.90 percent (Denmark), only three Member States, namely Italy, France and Germany, reached contribution shares greater than 10 percent. Including the United Kingdom, these four countries make up over 60 percent of all contributions, with Germany contributing the largest single proportion.
